UFCW Free Foreign Language Program: To ensure that more UFCW members have access to the free benefits that come with being a part of the UFCW family, the Free Foreign Language Program will now be enrolling members on a quarterly basis. “Seats” in this on-line program are limited and will be available on a first come, first serve basis. NJ AFL-CIO Labor Candidates School: Are you interested in running for public office or do you know another labor union member who is? Then visit the New Jersey State AFL-CIO’s website – www.njaflcio.org – and check out their Labor Candidates School, a program that provides union members the skills they need to mount a successful run for public office. The free program features instruction from a number of seasoned election experts who cover subjects such as fundraising, election law, campaign research, message development, public speaking, media relations, voter contact, etc. The program is free of charge to union members and helps level the playing field between candidates who represent the interests of working families and those of big business.

COVID 19 Update: As states continue to relax their COVID-19 protocols Local 1262 reminds our members to continue to practice safe work habits. Everyone – you, your family, your co-workers and customers – benefits when we practice safe COVID-19 procedures.

Keep Your Records Current: Local 1262 would like to remind our members and retirees that it is important to keep your records current, including your address. Even if you have filed an address change with your employer, you must also inform Local 1262’s Records Department of the change. You can contact our Records Department at 1-800-562-6913 (calling from New Jersey) or 1-800-526-7814 (calling from other states).

Concerns At Your Workplace?  Contact your Union Representative at 1-800-562-6913 (from New Jersey) or 1-800-526-7814 (from other states).  We are here for you seven days a week.

As always, we thank all of our members for your ongoing dedication and service during these most difficult and challenging times.  I consider it an honor and privilege to serve as your president.
